WELCOME TO HUMAN RESOURCES

Alvord Unified School District’s Human Resources supports the employment needs of all administrative, certificated and classified personnel. These services include but are not limited to obtaining appropriate fingerprint clearance, recruiting and selecting capable staff, maintaining all personnel records, monitoring assignments and credentials, resolving relevant employment issues, and honoring employees at various functions. Recruitment for qualified candidates takes place throughout Southern California Universities, local Community Colleges, and a variety of professional publications and internet postings. These recruitment efforts have proven to be successful because of the excellent and competitive salary and fringe benefits offered and the District’s reputation for excellence and high standards. New teacher support is coordinated with Educational Services. Human Resources is also responsible for contract negotiations with both certificated and classified associations and serves as a resource for contract interpretation and assistance with the implementation of the bargaining agreements.

The Human Resources Department is dedicated to customer service and strives to provide exceptional assistance and support for District employess, students and the community.
